Meet the Founder

Educational expert, administrator, and coordinator. Dr. Lynette Marie Angeloni, PhD, NBCT, has served in leading educational roles throughout her 40+ years career in education, with a deep passion for the arts and the education of the arts, especially for children in PK and K-12.

She is a PK-12 specialist in three states, holds National Board for Professional Teaching credentials, and has degrees with honors. She has been a Teacher, Assistant Principal, and Principal, a Gifted Consultant, and an Administrator in every grade level, K-higher education. She has also served as a 21st Century Grant Coordinator and successful grant writing teams. Dr. Angeloni has designed a teacher preparation program where she teaches Visual and Performing Arts Methods and supervises teachers to prepare them for the classroom. In 2019, she was awarded Distinguished Educator, and in 2020, the Aim True award from her University.

Dr. Angeloni has led the development of 3 new schools. First, in 1987, as the Art Educator for Pleasant View School of the Arts, which was a new magnet school for gifted and talented. While teaching in this position for twelve years, she served as the District's Art Education Consultant, providing professional development, integration strategies, and modeling exemplary differentiated instructional practices for elementary teachers throughout the District.

In 2006, she became an administrator of a #1 school in the State of Georgia - Savannah Arts Academy (SAA), which was also awarded a National Blue Ribbon School, along with obtaining many accolades such as the Governor's Cup Award and GA School of Excellence. She was appointed to open a PK-8 arts feeder school as the lead principal and was a co-founder of the Educational Partnership with the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). The partnership included D. Angeloni serving as Coordinator for an SAA and SCAD collaborative summer art camp. Sr. Angeloni completed her dissertation research on what parents look for in school choice options.

What has kept her passion alive for so many years?

Her story, inspired by her parents, is about helping others be the best they can be, following their passions, and discovering their shining star within.
